A prominent insurance company based in Buffalo, New York, is seeking a dedicated Insurance Customer Service Representative to manage a portfolio of clients, providing exceptional service and support throughout the entire policy lifecycle. This position requires strong experience in customer service, insurance systems, and claims coordination, with a focus on maintaining positive client relationships. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, managing both administrative and client-facing tasks while contributing to a supportive team culture. Salary Range: $45,000 - $60,000 / year DOE

Personal Lines CSR Responsibilities:

  • Manage a client portfolio of personal lines accounts, handling inquiries, renewals, claims, and documentation
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client service needs, ensuring seamless communication and resolution of issues
  • Facilitate renewal processes and collaborate with insurance carriers and underwriters to meet client requirements
  • Enter and maintain accurate client information in the agency management system
  • Support claims processes by assisting insured clients with filing, follow-ups, and coordination with adjusters
  • Provide quotes for renewal or re-written policies to optimize client coverage and satisfaction
  • Stay informed on market trends and continuously enhance customer service skills through ongoing education and training

Personal Lines CSR Requirements:

  • Prior experience in the insurance industry, particularly in agency service roles
  • Familiarity with insurance-based agency management systems
  • Personal lines experience required
  • New York State Insurance Broker License required
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently
  • A customer-focused mindset with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
