Personal Injury Litigation Attorney
Job Description
A premier legal firm specializing in personal injury and employment law is searching for a highly motivated and experienced Personal Injury Litigation Attorney to join their team! The ideal candidate must have at least 3-5+ years of experience in personal injury law, with strong legal research and writing skills and a genuine enthusiasm for navigating the courtroom. This role is fully onsite and provides a very lucrative earnings potential through a competitive base salary and uncapped commission. The firm also offers a laid-back, friendly work atmosphere and other perks!
Pay Range: $130, 000 - $200, 000 DOE + commission
Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of 40-50 personal injury cases, ensuring effective progression and resolution
- Participate in at least one trial per year, with responsibilities ranging from support to lead roles
- Conduct depositions and assist with comprehensive trial preparation
- Make routine court appearances for various legal proceedings
- Conduct legal research and analysis, supporting case strategy development
- Draft and prepare a wide range of legal documents, including motions, correspondence, and case-related materials
- Summarize discovery documents and manage case files efficiently
- Utilize Microsoft Office and Outlook for case management and organizational communication
Requirements:
- 3-5+ years of personal injury experience
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Active membership in the California State Bar
- Strong legal research, analysis, and writing skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office and Outlook
- General knowledge of California Civil Procedure
- Experience drafting and responding to discovery
- Legal writing experience
- Employment law experience is preferred
- Plaintiff side experience is preferred, but not mandatory
