Job Description
A growing legal services firm in Los Angeles, CA has an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled Personal Injury Attorney to join their team! As part of a rapidly growing firm specializing in personal injury litigation, you will have the chance to work alongside a dynamic team of professionals led by experienced partners. There is tremendous potential for growth as this firm and you can achieve partnership in as little as 3-5 years, regardless of your previous experience.
The ideal candidate has 2-3 years of experience in personal injury litigation and has the qualities of both a teacher and a leader. This position begins fully onsite, with the option to work a hybrid schedule of 3 days in office and 2 days remote, after 6 months.
Pay Range: $175,000 - $250,000 DOE
Responsibilities:
- Settle cases in the litigation department
- Supervise the litigation department
- 40-50 case load
- Draft legal documents, including requests for production, motions to compel for arbitration, and other motions
- Engage in negotiations with opposing counsel and clients
- Assist with document drafting
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and adherence to the firm's standards
Requirements:
- 2-3 years of attorney experience in personal injury
- Strong attention to detail and excellent legal research and writing skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
- Demonstrated ability to handle a substantial caseload
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Admission to the California Bar in good standing
