This is a Part-Time Contract role Onsite in Downtown San Diego, CA - Approx. 15-25 hours per week

We are currently seeking a Part-Time Jr. Salesforce Administrator to assist with our growing operations. This is a temporary contract role requiring approximately 15-25 hours per week onsite at our beautiful office in downtown San Diego. This position plays a supporting role in ensuring that our Salesforce platform operates smoothly and effectively, contributing to the success of our team.
In this role, you ll assist with basic Salesforce maintenance and updates, support the creation of reports and dashboards, and provide general user assistance. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn, with a strong interest in Salesforce administration and a willingness to take on a variety of tasks. Salary Range: up to $35 / hour DOE
Responsibilities:
- Salesforce Administration:
- Configure, customize, and maintain the Salesforce platform according to business needs, including workflows, process automation, validation rules, user permissions, data integrity, and security
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and design and implement effective Salesforce solutions
- Create and manage reports, dashboards, and data analytics to provide insights into sales and marketing performance
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements to optimize Salesforce functionality
- User Support and Training:
- Serve as the first point of contact for Salesforce-related user inquiries, issues, and requests, providing timely and effective resolution
- Conduct user training sessions to educate employees on Salesforce features, best practices, and new releases
- Assist users in creating and managing reports, dashboards, and other Salesforce-related tasks
- Maintain documentation and knowledge base resources to enable self-service support for users
- System Maintenance and Enhancement:
- Proactively monitor system health and performance, ensuring data integrity and reliability
- Coordinate with internal teams to plan and execute system upgrades, patches, and data migrations
- Stay up to date with Salesforce releases and new features, evaluating their potential impact and recommending improvements to existing processes
- Participate in the evaluation, selection, and implementation of new IT tools and technologies to enhance system capabilities and efficiency
Requirements:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Salesforce Certification required
- Strong experience in Salesforce administration, including configuration, customization, and user support
- In-depth knowledge of Salesforce CRM features, data structure, and security controls
- Proficient in creating and managing reports, dashboards, and workflows in Salesforce
- Experience in providing user training and documentation creation
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- Salesforce Administrator or other relevant certifications are a plus
- Previous Salesforce implementation experience is a plus
- Familiarity with additional platforms such as BullHorn, Slack, RingCentral, TextUs, Indeed, LinkedIn Recruiter, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and ZoomInfo
