Part-Time Full Charge Bookkeeper
Job Description
An accounting firm that offers PEO services is searching for a Part-Time Full Charge Bookkeeper to join their team in Sewickley, PA! They are looking for someone with at least 5 years of experience in full-cycle to manage the accounting needs of 1 client in an outsourced setting (10 hours/week). Pay Range: Up to $28.85/hour
Responsibilities:
- Handle complete accounting processes for 2-5 clients with revenues ranging from $100k to $2.5M
- Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP)
- Conduct billing, journal entries, and all activities related to month-end close
- Oversee depreciation and financial reporting, including Profit & Loss (P&L) and balance sheets
- Maintain regular communication with clients, including weekly calls and monthly meetings
- Ensure smooth operation and timely delivery of accounting services
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in full-cycle accounting, including AR, AP, journal entries, and month-end close
- Proficiency in QuickBooks (both desktop and online versions)
- Experience in financial reporting (P&L, balance sheets) is highly preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field is a plus, but not mandatory
- Prior experience in product sales industries is preferred (excluding oil and gas, telecommunications, energy sectors)
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple client accounts
- Excellent communication skills and comfortable working directly with clients
