Part Time Bookkeeper
Job Description
A boutique financial advisory firm in Westlake, CA is searching for a Part-Time Bookkeeper to join their small, close-knit team! They are looking for someone with at least 3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience to work for 3 days per week, helping to manage accounts receivable, client payments, and financial reconciliations. The position is part-time initially, but has the potential to evolve into a full-time, direct hire making this the perfect opportunity to gain experience from seasoned professionals while you ease into the role!
Pay Range: $30 - $33/hr DOE
Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts receivable for accurate client payment tracking
- Conduct bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records
- Utilize QuickBooks Online for comprehensive account management
- Perform financial tasks including bill payments and recording deposits
- Analyze invoices to ensure proper coding to ledger accounts
- Provide administrative support, handling mail, calls, and client matters
- Identify and implement process improvements for operational efficiency
Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience is required
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Excel, and Word at an intermediate level is essential
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently in a small team environment
- Must be able to work fully onsite at Westlake Village office
- Previous experience in an accounting firm is preferred
- A bachelor's degree in accounting or related field is a plus
