Job Description
A dynamic and rapidly growing e-commerce company in Lynwood, CA, specializing in wholesale liquidation is searching for a highly organized and detail-oriented Operations Specialist to support business operations and vendor relations! This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated professional with a strong background in vendor management to play a key role in optimizing operations and driving efficiency across the organization. The role involves managing vendor relationships, coordinating purchases, handling essential communications, and supporting administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the business.
This is the perfect role for you if you're comfortable wearing multiple hats, from overseeing vendor relationships and purchase coordination to supporting internal sales teams and contributing to special projects like planning company events and optimizing operational procedures. Your responsibilities will include working closely with sales and management teams, overseeing inventory and payment processes, and ensuring that operational goals are met efficiently. Salary Range: $70,000 - $75,000 / year DOE
Operations Specialist Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in customer or vendor relationship management, preferably in a B2B e-commerce or wholesale liquidation environment
- High School Diploma required; a Bachelor's degree is preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data cleaning and preparation, as well as PowerPoint
- Basic proficiency in Canva or Adobe for email marketing purposes
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly present findings
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Experience in B2B e-commerce or wholesale liquidation is preferred
- Proficiency in Spanish or another language is preferred
Operations Specialist Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, including Walmart, Target, and Home Depot
- Coordinate meetings and oversee the purchasing of merchandise, including furniture and apparel, to meet inventory requirements
- Manage communications with inside accounts, oversee inventory shipments, and handle payment processing
- Analyze quarterly sales performance using KPIs and provide support to account managers with sales data management
- Ensure compliance with and enhancement of standard operating procedures within the sales department
- Develop and distribute concise and effective email marketing campaigns to promote new inventory items
- Plan and organize company events, conferences, and team-building activities, supporting the ESOP committee as needed
- Assist in coordinating projects across departments to ensure timely and efficient completion
