Operations Associate
Job Description
A well-established investor services firm in Wyomissing, PA is searching for an Operations Associate to join their team! They are looking for someone with at least 5 years in finance or investments, eager to support key operational tasks that will contribute to the team s continued success! The role involves analytical work, client support, and improving processes. Pay Range: $28 - $31/hr DOE
Responsibilities:
- Act as a central support figure within the operations team, involved in a wide range of activities including the preparation of performance reports, maintenance of GIPS composites, and various analytical and operational tasks
- Maintain accuracy in index benchmarks, daily account performance, and performance returns reports
- Assist in the quarterly client reporting process and ensure GIPS composite integrity and compliance
- Handle consultant questionnaires, maintain databases, and manage data across various platforms accurately
- Develop materials for client meetings and marketing initiatives, including presentation booklets and performance exhibits
- Support daily reconciliation and trade data input to ensure alignment between custodian bank records and internal systems
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the investment/financial services industry
- Proficiency in GIPS standards and experience with relevant software (Advisor Engine, Portfolio Center, Norwood Composite Builder) is highly desirable
- Strong mathematical and analytical abilities
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the capacity to articulate complex information clearly and effectively
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a proven track record of managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- A problem-solver with a creative mindset, open to process improvements and innovative solutions
- Resilient and adaptable, capable of working in a dynamic setting and responding effectively to challenges
