A fast-growing company in San Diego, California is looking for a highly organized and proactive Office Manager to support daily operations and leadership. This onsite role manages office functions, coordinates travel and meetings, handles expense reports, and ensures smooth administrative processes. As part of a dynamic startup environment, this position plays a key role in maintaining efficiency and supporting leadership as the company scales. The ideal candidate is resourceful, adaptable, and able to problem-solve independently. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a professional demeanor are essential for success in this role.
Salary Range: $31.25-$36 / hour DOE
Office Manager Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day office operations to ensure efficiency and organization
- Coordinate travel arrangements independently or through a travel agency
- Schedule and set up meetings, including preparing materials and logistics
- Assist in expense reporting and office purchasing, including managing a corporate credit card for necessary expenses
- Provide executive support to leadership, including calendaring and scheduling assistance
- Maintain a professional and welcoming office environment, ensuring a seamless experience for employees and visitors
- Adapt to evolving needs and take on additional tasks as required
Office Manager Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in an office management role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Teams
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with a proactive and resourceful approach
- Ability to work independently and problem-solve in a fast-paced startup environment
- Excellent communication skills and a professional, friendly demeanor
- High level of discretion and ability to handle confidential information appropriately
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
