A forward-thinking health and wellness company dedicated to developing innovative products to enhance personal well-being is searching for an Office Manager to join their team in Ann Arbor, MI! The role involves managing substantial financial transactions, overseeing detailed compliance and regulatory processes, and facilitating comprehensive employee onboarding and offboarding. Additionally, the Office Manager will handle a variety of administrative duties across multiple business entities, supporting operations and assisting with the management of licenses and tax-related tasks.

They are looking for candidates who are proactive and ambitious, with at least 3 years of administrative experience in a highly regulated environment. Someone who is exceptionally organized and tech-savvy, preferably with experience within the health and wellness industry. Office Manager Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of administrative experience in a highly regulated environment
  • Exceptional organizational and computer skills
  • Adept at navigating industry-specific compliance and regulatory frameworks
  • Experience in regulated sectors related to health and personal care is a plus
  • Educational background in business administration or related fields is preferred but not required
  • Demonstrates strong attention to detail
  • Proactive and anticipatory in managing tasks and addressing issues before they escalate.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Highly reliable, providing consistent performance and dependability
  • Adaptable, capable of handling multiple tasks and adjusting to changing priorities

Office Manager Responsibilities:
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable tasks, focusing on accuracy and attention to detail for approximately 20-30 significant transactions per week
  • Oversee the full cycle of employee onboarding and offboarding, ensuring a smooth transition and compliance with company policies
  • Perform a variety of administrative duties, including handling regulatory documentation, managing licenses, and assisting with tax-related tasks
  • Support multiple aspects of the business by managing paperwork for several company entities, without being directly involved in bookkeeping
