Job Description

A well-established plumbing company in San Diego, CA is seeking an Office Manager/Bookkeeper to join their team!  They are looking for someone with a background in commercial construction and 3+ years of bookkeeping experience who can wear multiple hats and be responsible for both various accounting tasks and other administrative office duties.  This is a great opportunity to join a close-knit team that values loyalty, open communication and transparency! Pay Range: $83,200 - $93,600 DOE

  • Manage vendor invoices, process payments, and track expenses
  • Work with general contractors, prepare tax documents, and maintain records
  • Assist with tax payments and provide backup support for payroll
  • Track expenses, prepare journal entries, and monitor business card spending
  • Ensure accurate financial records through bank statement reconciliation
  • Maintain vendor information and perform data entry for the system
  • Assist in maintaining accurate financial transactions on the general ledger
  • Coordinate with field workers for IT, troubleshoot device-related issues
  • Facilitate screenings and onboarding processes for new employees
  • Complete forms, order office supplies, assist with tax preparation and other tasks as necessary

  • 3-5+ years of bookkeeping experience
  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred
  • Commercial construction background
  • Must be able to work onsite
  • Must live within 30 minutes of the office
  • Experience with Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Plumbing experience is preferred
  • Experience with Quantum or Textura is preferred
