Mobile Groomer
Job Description
A pet grooming company based out of Danville, CA is seeking a Mobile Groomer to join their team. As a Mobile Groomer, you will be responsible for providing top-notch grooming services to pets in Walnut Creek and Danville using a state-of-the-art, self-contained mobile spa equipped luxury van. If you have a valid driver s license, 1 year of pet grooming experience and love for animals, this is your chance to benefit from a flexible schedule, the change of scenery from a job on the move and be able to help make pets and owners smile every day!
Pay Range: $70, 000 - $75, 000 DOE
Responsibilities:
- Clean grooming space daily
- Drive to different customer locations
- Assess the condition of pets and provide appropriate grooming services
- Bathe, brush, clip nails, and clean ears of animals
- Handle puppies and older animals with care and gentleness
- Follow safety protocols in case of a pet medical emergency
- Maintain pet records and groomer notes
- Clean all equipment after use
- Document supply and cleaning needs for the vehicle
- Fill up the van with gas (gas card provided)
- Groom a variety of animals, mainly dogs
Requirements:
- 1 year of pet grooming experience
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record
- Proficiency in English
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
- Excellent customer service skills
- Punctuality and professionalism
- Positive attitude and strong communication skills
