Job Description


A leading property management company specializing in healthcare and commercial properties is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Medical Building Property Manager in San Jose, CA. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and operating a commercial medical office building portfolio, including overseeing accounting functions and administrative staff and ensuring policies and procedures are effectively administered. 
 
Pay Range:$90,000 - $110,000?DOE 
 
Responsibilities: 
  • Supervise daily operations and enforce policies set by client and company 
  • Manage tenant-focused relationship programs and processes 
  • Negotiate service agreements, select suppliers and vendors, provide quality-control oversight, implement cost-containment initiatives, measure compliance to contractual standards and provide liaison as needed between tenants and third-party service providers 
  • Develop and control annual operating and capital expense budgets on behalf of client and monitor monthly performance 
  • Review and approve all invoices related to assigned facilities 
  • Identify and oversee annual capital budget projects 
  • Manage construction and tenant improvement projects 
  • Responsible for CAM Reconciliations 
  • Monitor lease expirations and negotiate new leases and renewals 
  • Meet with Hospital Administration to discuss campus strategies and real estate operations 
  • Provide formal supervision to individual employees within operational area 
  • Prepare and deliver performance appraisal for staff 
 
Requirements: 
  • Real Estate License required (willing to obtain in the first 3 months) 
  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required- Bachelor's degree preferred 
  • 5+ Years in Commercial Office Property Management field required 
  • IREM Certified Property Manager (CPM) preferred 
  • BOMA Real Property Administrator (RPA) preferred 
  • CAM license preferred 
  • Experience preparing detailed annual property operating and capital budgets
