Job Description

A national leader in wholesale disability insurance products is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to join their team in San Diego!  As the Marketing Coordinator, you will play a vital role in the company by marketing and promoting the company brand.  The position involves assisting in the planning, execution, and coordination of various marketing programs and activities.  The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in a marketing role and a demonstrated ability to optimize digital marketing efforts, with graphic design experience as an added plus!

Pay Range: $25 - $29/hr DOE

  • Manage the company page and oversee LinkedIn profiles for 8 individuals, including outside sales representatives and the executive team
  • Develop and implement marketing campaigns, including emails, newsletters, and postcards, to promote the carrier products and services
  • Collaborate with the IT department on website updates, email campaigns, and other digital marketing initiatives
  • Conduct market research, analyze web traffic, and identify key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns
  • Monitor and report on competitors' marketing activities
  • Create engaging marketing content and materials
  • Assist with search engine optimization (SEO) and search engine marketing (SEM) campaigns
  • Coordinate activities and events to elevate brand awareness
  • Manage admail and Insightly systems
  • Collaborate with third-party vendors for projects
  • Ensure timely execution of social media postings and email blasts, including daily responsibilities and recurring items

  • 2-3 years of experience in a marketing role
  • Graphic design experience is highly preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Canva, and Adobe
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to think critically and creatively
  • Detail-oriented with excellent research skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Familiarity with marketing strategies and sales techniques
  • Demonstrated ability to optimize digital marketing efforts
