Manufacturing Mechanical Engineer
Job Description
A machine manufacturing company in Concord, NC is searching for a Manufacturing Mechanical Engineer! This role involves leading critical projects from conceptualization to high-volume production, specifically focusing on precision parts for various applications including truck transmissions and ball-bearing assemblies. They are looking for candidates who are proficient in Esprit software and have at least 5 years of relevant experience in machine manufacturing processes. Pay Range: $80, 000 - $120, 000 DOE
Responsibilities:
- Lead pivotal projects from prototyping stages through to high-volume production, ensuring project milestones and quality standards are met
- Design and execute manufacturing processes for precision parts with minimal error tolerance, focusing on truck transmissions and related components
- Foster effective communication and documentation practices across all project stages, ensuring clarity and efficiency in process workflows
- Engage in active problem-solving and process optimization, identifying and implementing strategies to enhance manufacturing efficiency and quality
- Program and simulate manufacturing processes using Esprit software, crucial for the accurate and efficient production of parts
- Collaborate closely with clients, internal teams, and stakeholders, providing technical guidance and support to ensure project success
- Maintain a hands-on approach to all aspects of the manufacturing process, from client interaction to on-the-floor engagement with production teams
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry
- Comprehensive experience in programming and parts manufacturing, with proficiency in Esprit by Hexacon preferred
- A Bachelor s degree in Engineering is preferred but not required
- Ability to work onsite
- Demonstrated initiative, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach to project management
