Job Description


A global manufacturing company that produces innovative water filtration products is seeking a Manufacturing General Manager to lead operations at its newly acquired facility in Temecula, CA! They are looking for someone with a background in large manufacturing management to streamline operations and guide the transition from a family-operated framework to a professionally structured organization that smoothly integrates with the company s wider operations. If you re a natural leader and come from a manufacturing management background with a focus on operational leadership and organizational change, especially at a large-scale enterprise, this amazing opportunity is your chance to be at the forefront of a niche industry at a company that produces world-class water filtration and treatment products!

Pay Range: $120, 000 - $160, 000 DOE

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all operations of the Temecula manufacturing facility, ensuring smooth functioning from production activities on the shop floor to financial reporting and analysis at the upper levels
  • Strategically restructure the organizational setup to enhance productivity and efficiency, in collaboration with the CEO
  • Directly manage and lead 4 departments, supervising around 20 employees to ensure optimal performance and professional growth
  • Guide the transition from a family-operated framework to a structured, professionally managed organization, applying effective change management practices
  • Collaborate with the former owners to improve manufacturing processes and procedures, aiming for a balance between tradition and innovation
  • Embrace a dual role that combines hands-on operational management with administrative responsibilities, including email communication, financial reporting, and understanding of profit/loss (P&L) statements

Requirements:
  • 5+ years in management positions, with a focus on operational leadership and organizational change
  • Experience in a senior operational role, preferably within the manufacturing sector
  • Experience in large, well-established firms are strongly desired
  • Demonstrated ability to lead by example, inspire positive change, and energize a team
  • Solid understanding of financial management principles, including profit and loss (P&L) analysis and budgeting
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Multi-lingual abilities in Italian or Spanish is a plus
