A top-tier retained and contingency executive search firm in Fairfax County is seeking a Managing Director to drive the expansion and growth of its temp division. The role will focus on expanding client outreach, increasing sales, and improving operational efficiency. Key responsibilities include overseeing the division's growth, implementing new systems, and mentoring staff. The ideal candidate will have experience managing teams, building revenue, and driving results in the recruiting industry, and be motivated by performance-based success with a path to equity ownership.
Managing Director Responsibilities:
- Lead the expansion of the temp and permanent divisions by increasing client outreach and building brand awareness
- Develop and implement new systems to enhance efficiency and boost sales within the temp business
- Mentor and manage new hires, fostering growth and success within the team
- Create structure and systems to streamline business processes, focusing on client and candidate relations
- Play a key role in positioning the company for future success by overseeing client relationships and new business development
Managing Director Requirements:
- Proven experience managing a team of recruiting professionals, ideally within the temp staffing industry
- Strong background in business development, with a focus on increasing revenue and expanding a division
- In-depth understanding of recruiting operations, including sales, billing, and training processes
- Ability to thrive in a small, close-knit team environment, and sell new processes to the team
- Experience in managing a temp division or office is preferred
