Job Description
A well-established personal injury law firm in Dallas, TX, with a strong reputation for excellence in Personal Injury and Medical Malpractice litigation is searching for a sharp and detail-oriented Litigation Paralegals to join their team! Litigation Paralegal Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience as a litigation paralegal
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with a variety of personalities
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Must be polished, professional, and able to work onsite in Dallas, Texas
- Experience in personal injury or medical malpractice law is preferred
- Paralegal certificate or bachelor's degree is preferred
- Familiarity with Neos or other legal case management systems (training available)
Litigation Paralegal Responsibilities:
- Support two attorneys with all aspects of litigation, including calendaring deadlines, conducting research, and preparing for mediations and depositions
- Draft and file legal documents, including notices and court reports
- Coordinate with clients, experts, and other legal professionals to ensure smooth case management
- Manage expense reports, invoices, and travel arrangements for clients, particularly in medical malpractice cases
- Prepare and organize case files, including scanning emails to the document system and ensuring all necessary documents are accessible
- Provide proactive support to attorneys, ensuring they are well-prepared and all deadlines are met
- Work on approximately 40 cases simultaneously, maintaining organization and attention to detail
