Warranty/Lemon Law Attorney
Job Description

Pay Range: $130,000 - $180,000 DOE
Responsibilities:
- Manage a comprehensive caseload of warranty and lemon law cases, ensuring timely progression and resolution
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on case-specific issues
- Draft and file various legal documents, including complaints, motions, and briefs
- Argue motions and represent clients in hearings, mediations, and arbitrations
- Lead and participate in the discovery process, including drafting discovery requests and responses, and conducting depositions
- Collaborate with team members on strategy development for cases
- Prepare for and assist in trial proceedings, with a focus on achieving favorable outcomes for clients
- Provide regular updates to clients and partners on case progress
- Ensure compliance with all legal standards and regulations
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Active membership in the California State Bar
- 5-10 years of litigation experience, preferably in employment law, commercial litigation, insurance defense, or medical malpractice
- Demonstrated experience in motion writing, discovery, and trial preparation
- Strong analytical, research, and writing skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, capable of managing relationships with clients, team members, and other stakeholders
- Proven ability to work efficiently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Defense experience preferred, though plaintiff experience will be considered
- Commitment to ethical legal practice and adherence to client confidentiality
