Litigation Attorney
Job Description

A thriving legal firm is seeking a Litigation Attorney to join their dynamic Irvine, CA office. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to handle diverse and challenging cases, primarily in real estate litigation, trust and estate litigation, and general civil litigation. You will manage cases from start to finish, including discovery, depositions, court appearances, and trial preparation, working closely with experienced partners and a supportive legal team. They seek organized, professional, and collaborative attorneys with strong litigation experience who are ready to make an impact.
Salary Range: $150,000 - $200,000 / year DOE
Litigation Attorney Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of 10-25 cases, depending on complexity and type
- Handle cases from discovery to resolution, including depositions, drafting motions, and court appearances
- Collaborate with partners, paralegals, and legal assistants to achieve successful case outcomes
- Prepare for and participate in trial proceedings, including acting as second chair
- Travel to courts in Los Angeles and Orange County as needed
Litigation Attorney Requirements:
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
- Active California Bar membership
- 3 7 years of litigation experience, including general civil litigation
- Strong preference for experience in litigation
- Deposition experience is required
- Ability to manage cases independently from start to finish
- Second-chair trial experience preferred
- Willingness to travel locally for case-related needs
- Organized, professional, and collaborative team player
