Litigation Attorney
Job Description
A prestigious estate planning, trust & probate law firm in Irvine, CA is seeking a Litigation Attorney to join their growing team! The ideal candidate will have a strong background in litigation, particularly in trust, business, and probate. This role involves handling cases for clients in court, managing case files, negotiating settlements and more!
Salary Range: $135,000 - $225,000 / year DOE
Litigation Attorney Requirements:
- 3-10+ years of litigation experience
- Barred in California
- Experience in legal litigation, probate or trust preferred
- Proficiency in Timeslips, Centerbase is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; empathetic or compassionate when emotions are heightened
- Self-starter, motivated, and detail-oriented
- This position is 100% onsite out of the office in Irvine, CA
Litigation Attorney Responsibilities:
- Handle cases for clients in court, including preparing legal arguments and presenting them to judges and juries
- Conduct legal research to build strong cases
- Draft legal briefs, motions, and other court documents
- Negotiate settlements with opposing parties
- Keep clients informed about their case progress and legal options
- Organize and maintain case files, documents, and evidence
- Appear in court on behalf of clients for hearings, trials, and other court proceedings
