Job Description
A distinguished law firm in Santa Monica, California is seeking a dedicated Litigation Attorney to join their team. This role provides the opportunity to work on cases from inception to trial, encompassing client interactions, depositions, mediations, discovery, and trial preparation. The ideal candidate is a motivated attorney with exceptional litigation skills and a strong presence in depositions. They are seeking a confident, driven attorney with 3-7 years of litigation experience, outstanding communication skills, and the ability to manage complex cases in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
Salary Range: $100,000 - $180,000 / year DOE
Litigation Attorney Responsibilities:
- Manage litigation cases from inception through trial
- Conduct depositions, including in-person depositions
- Handle complex discovery processes
- Draft and argue motions
- Participate in mediations, arbitrations, and trial preparation
- Collaborate with partners and associates on high-profile cases
- Interact with clients to provide updates and case strategy
Litigation Attorney Requirements:
- 3-7 years of litigation experience
- Proven in-person deposition experience
- Expertise in complex discovery processes
- Strong legal writing skills, including drafting and arguing motions
- Active California Bar membership
- Driven, hardworking, and personable with a team-oriented mindset
- Excellent communication skills
