A well-established Century City employment litigation firm is looking to add a full-time legal Sr Associate to their staff in Los Angeles, CA. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to have a long-term position with a growing firm. The right candidate should be well-spoken, organized, able to multitask, and comfortable speaking with clients. You will be responsible to find the right facts in cases, asking the right questions in a case, how to present the evidence in an effective.

Pay Range: $125,000 - $150,000 DOE
 

Responsibilities:
  • You will make the higher-level strategic decisions for trial and how to move forward 
  • Will only be doing litigation; will have around 50 cases 
  • Depositions and prep clients for depositions 
  • Opposing motions
  • Bringing motions
  • Summary judgments 
  • Defending depos
  • Writing discovery
  • Working up a case from filing to trial
  • Taking and defending depositions
  • Drafting law and motion assignments
  • Meeting with clients and creating litigation strategy

Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of experience with at least 3 years of litigation and some employment exposure
  • Must have 3 years of litigation
  • Can work a case independently from start to end
  • Deposition experience 
  • Plaintiff experience is preferred
