Litigation Associate
Job Description

A well-established and reputable law firm in Concord, NH is seeking a Litigation Associate to join its dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of litigation experience and strong legal writing skills. This role involves assisting in diverse litigation matters, collaborating with senior attorneys, and progressively building an independent caseload. Salary Range: $90,000 - $100k / year DOE
Litigation Associate Responsibilities:
- Assist in commercial real estate and business litigation, including labor and employment, medical malpractice, and personal injury cases
- Draft legal documents such as motions to dismiss, motions for summary judgment, and motions in limine
- Conduct legal research and draft detailed interoffice memos on substantive legal issues
- Write and deliver formal opinion letters and business advice letters directly to clients
- Collaborate with senior attorneys and progressively build an independent caseload
- Engage in business development activities over time, supported by mentoring and resources provided by the firm
Litigation Associate Requirements:
- Licensed to practice law in New Hampshire
- 1-3 years of litigation experience, particularly in real estate, business law, or commercial litigation
- Demonstrated legal writing skills, including certifications, clerkships, or appellate work
- Ability to articulate clear career goals in alignment with the firm s vision
- Proficiency with document management systems and email platforms
