Licensed Land Surveyor
Job Description
A general civil engineering firm based in Rancho Cordova, CA, is on the lookout for a Licensed Land Surveyor to join their team. Daily responsibilities for this Licensed Land Surveyor will include all types of land surveying, such as property boundary surveys, topographic surveys, aerial mapping control and more! The optimal candidate has exceptional understanding of AutoCAD and Civil 3D, takes initiative, and ready to hit the ground running.
Salary Range: $140,000 - $160,000 / year DOE
Licensed Land Surveyor Requirements:
- Licensed Land Surveyor in California
- 5-10+ years of experience with all types of surveying, mapping, boundaries; subdivision, commercial & landscape experience required
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D
- Strong communication skills and professional demeanor
- BA Degree required for a Civil Engineer
- Self-starter with the ability to take initiative and work independently
- Ability to work onsite 5 days a week, from the office in Rancho Cordova, CA
Licensed Land Surveyor Responsibilities:
- Conduct property boundary surveys, topographic surveys, and aerial mapping control
- Prepare Final Maps, Parcel Maps, and Record of Surveys
- Perform ALTA Land Title Surveys, Right of Way surveys, and As-built surveys
- Process conventional and GNSS data, both RTK and Static, including GNSS Post-Processing
- Resolve boundary matters and prepare final maps
- Collaborate with the Survey Manager and other team members to ensure project success
