Job Description
A dependable construction company is seeking an experienced Landscape Construction Project Manager to join their team in Sterling, MA. In this role, you will oversee residential landscape construction projects from concept to completion, managing budgets, timelines, and collaboration with various stakeholders such as architects, contractors, and clients. Key tasks include reading and laying out plans, managing grading and drainage, and operating equipment such as excavators and bobcats. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented professional with excellent leadership and communication skills, ready to contribute innovative ideas and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Landscape Construction Project Manager Responsibilities:
- Manage residential landscape construction projects from start to finish
- Read and interpret plans, including grading and drainage layouts
- Perform site layouts using Transem and laser equipment
- Operate and oversee the use of construction equipment such as excavators and bobcats
- Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, contractors, and landscapers
- Ensure projects meet quality standards, timelines, and budgets
- Monitor project progress and update stakeholders regularly
- Implement safety measures and enforce compliance with regulations
- Mentor and manage a team of employees and subcontractors
Landscape Construction Project Manager Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in landscape construction project management
- Proficient in reading and laying out plans
- Strong experience with grading and drainage projects
- Ability to operate small construction equipment
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills
- Experience managing diverse teams and working with clients, architects, and contractors
- Detail-oriented and proactive with the ability to work independently
- Valid driver s license required
