Junior Workers Comp Attorney
Job Description
A nationally established full-service legal company is seeking a dedicated Jr. Workers Comp Attorney to join their dynamic team at their Glendale, CA location. This role involves managing workers compensation cases from inception to resolution, with the support and oversight of the Managing Partner. This position offers a hybrid work arrangement, and the opportunity with a supportive team of attorneys and support staff, while running your own cases independently! Salary Range: $135,000 / year DOE
Jr. Workers Comp Attorney Requirements:
- 2-3 years of workers compensation experience, preferably in defense
- Must be barred in California
- Strong multitasking and time management skills
- Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently
- Willing to collaborate as a team player and help as needed
- Natural self-starter and able to hold themselves accountable
- Ability to work in office 2x per week at their Glendale, CA location
Jr. Workers Comp Attorney Responsibilities
- Handle approximately 90-100 cases workers compensation cases from inception to resolution with oversight and support from the Managing Partner
- Conduct virtual court appearances, with occasional in-person trials
- Collaborate with a team of experienced attorneys in a diverse environment
- Ability to bill 200 hours/ month
