Job Description

A trusted wealth management and financial planning firm in Pearl River, New York, is seeking a Junior Advisor to join their team. This role focuses on building client relationships, supporting financial planning efforts, executing trades, and assisting with portfolio management. The position involves transitioning into a revenue-generating advisor capacity, with opportunities for mentorship and growth under experienced leadership. Ideal candidates are motivated, client-focused, and eager to develop their skills in a collaborative and dynamic environment.
Salary Range: $80,000 - $90,000 / year DOE
Junior Advisor Responsibilities:
- Support senior advisors with client account management and assigned client tasks
- Assist in building a client base and raising capital through relationship building
- Execute trade operations, primarily in mutual funds, in a long-term, buy-and-hold strategy
- Transition from a support role to a full advisory position, generating revenue and maintaining client satisfaction
- Use systems such as LPL, Black Diamond, E-Money, and Redtail CRM to enhance client servicing
- Provide operational support in onboarding and maintaining client accounts
- Contribute to the firm's collaborative and entrepreneurial culture
Junior Advisor Requirements:
- Series 65 license or willingness to obtain it
- 2-3 years of experience in a client-facing role at a small RIA or bank
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and technical skills
- Confidence in utilizing financial technology system
- Preferred background as an athlete or experience showcasing team collaboration and dynamic personality traits
