Journeyman Carpenter
Job Description
Boutique Recruiting has an exciting new opportunity for a Journeyman Carpenter to work for an exhibit design and fabrication company in Henderson, NV! You will be responsible for working onsite at a facility to oversee various projects within the exhibit design and fabrication process for a company that builds massive installations for tradeshows. They are looking for someone with 5+ years of experience in exhibit management or finished cabinetry who is capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
The company works on a 4-10 schedule, with Friday’s off and offers an attractive benefits package that includes 100% medical coverage, a 401k, PTO and holidays off. You will also benefit from a friendly work culture that is fast-paced, while encouraging a healthy work life balance!
Pay Range: $35 - $38/hr DOE
Responsibilities:
- Lead the lifecycle of projects, from layout and production to project close-outs
- Oversee project hours, production progress, and ensure adherence to safety standards, including OSHA guidelines
- Collaborate with the production managers on purchasing and materials management
- Work closely with the team to maintain a safe and efficient work environment
- Demonstrate expertise in safety and harassment prevention, ensuring a respectful and inclusive workplace
- Facilitate effective teamwork and unity among team members
- Stay updated on industry trends and cutting-edge technologies, contributing to innovative solutions
- Maintain a strong sense of urgency and adhere to project timelines
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution
- Handle project documentation and close-outs with meticulous attention to detail
Requirements:
- 5-8 years of experience in exhibit management or finished cabinetry
- Proven experience overseeing projects throughout their lifecycle
- Strong project management skills, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Knowledge of power tools and equipment used in fabrication
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish/English (preferred)
- Ability to work collaboratively and lead a team effectively
