Job Description
A dynamic and engaging opportunity awaits for an experienced Journalist/News Writer to join a leading media company in Pasadena, CA. This role involves writing and editing business news articles related to the adult industry, covering breaking news, and conducting interviews with industry figures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background news reports and long-form content, proficiency in AP style="">Salary Range: $50,000 - $80,000 / year DOE
Journalist/News Writer Requirements:
- BA in Journalism
- 3-10 years of experience as a writer, with a focus on news reports and long-form content
- Experience in legal/political news is a plus
- Proficiency in AP style="">Ability to work with high sense of urgency and attentiveness
- Experience with Utilize Slack, Google Docs, ClickUp, and MS Office preferred
- Ability to work 100% onsite from their office in Pasadena, CA
- Flexible and adaptable; may need to work outside of the traditional business hours depending on news breaks
Journalist /News Writer Responsibilities
- Write and edit business news articles related to the adult industry, with an emphasis on legal/political news reporting
- Cover breaking news and provide timely updates
- Conduct interviews with industry figures and personalities
- Provide coverage of industry conferences, seminars, and special events
- Ability to perform basic image editing as needed
- Utilize various systems for task management and collaboration
