Job Description
A leading financial and retirement planning firm in Oakbrook Terrace, IL is searching for a skilled Investment Analyst who has a strong proficiency with eMoney to help support their advisors by handling the data and analytical tasks necessary for creating detailed financial plans. They are looking for detail-oriented candidates with at least 2 years of experience in financial services who are extremely organized with strong time management skills and a passion for providing amazing customer service to help clients live a good life in their retirement after so many years of hard work. Investment Analyst Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in financial services
- Proficiency in eMoney (certification preferred)
- Strong skills in Microsoft Word and Excel (formulas and VLOOKUPs required)
- Familiarity with Outlook and Salesforce
- Bachelor s degree in a related field is preferred
- Experience with Riskalyze, Stonewood Financial, Allianz, and various financial institutions is preferred
- Previous paraplanning experience is a plus but not required
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Strong time management
- Excellent communication skills
- Team-oriented and client-focused
Investment Analyst Responsibilities:
- Input financial information into various financial software tools to analyze cash flow, investment risk, and taxes
- Review investment statements, tax returns, estate documents, insurance policies, and other client-provided documents
- Construct financial plans based on information from advisors
- Assist with approximately 20 preplans per month, working closely with the Director of Planning
- Maintain strict organization and adherence to timelines and procedures
