Job Description
A prestigious legal services firm specializing in international trade law, with a strong focus on representing petitioners in federal courts and before the Department of Commerce and International Trade Committee is searching for an International Trade Law Legal Assistant/Paralegal to join their team in Washington, DC. They are looking for a diligent legal assistant with at least 2 years of experience in International Trade Law within federal courts to support a team of attorneys by preparing filings and briefs, maintaining electronic files, calendaring, and conducting research. The role offers a hybrid work arrangement along with the flexibility of a smaller firm, where you ll have the opportunity to work alongside a great group of co-workers in a respectful and collegial environment.
Pay Range: $50, 000 - $65, 000 DOE
Responsibilities:
- Support four attorneys in international trade law cases
- Prepare filings and briefs for federal courts
- Maintain and manage electronic files efficiently
- Calendar management and meeting coordination
- Conduct factual research and import data from available sources
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in International Trade Law within federal courts
- Proficiency in MS Office;experience with QuickBooks Online preferred
- Ability to prepare graphs and work confidently with data
- Strong research skills;paralegal certificate preferred
- Excellent attention to detail, adaptability, and a positive mindset
- Team-oriented with a willingness to learn and grow
