REMOTE Insurance Defense Attorney
Job Description
A well-respected insurance defense law firm in San Francisco, CA is seeking an experienced and highly motivated REMOTE Insurance Defense Attorney to join their team.
They are looking for candidates barred in California with 1-5 years of insurance defense experience and a focus on cases involving commercial trucking, transportation, and construction defect law. This is a fully remote position, so you can work from any state as long as you are licensed to practice law in CA. Pay Range: $100,000 - $150,000 DOE
Responsibilities:
- Manage cases independently, running them from inception to conclusion
- Handle an average caseload of 10-15 cases, varying in complexity
- Oversee case management and provide directions to paralegals
- Prepare motions, discovery responses, and carrier reports
- Conduct depositions and defend depositions as needed
Requirements:
- 1-5 years of experience in Insurance Defense
- Proficiency in billing using ADA codes in increments of 0.1
- Must be barred in California
- Experience with legal systems such as Cleo and Nexus is a plus
