In-Home Spanish Language Tutor

Job Description

We are looking for a fun and engaging Spanish language teacher to provide in-home tutoring lessons, catering to three children between the ages of 6 and 12. This person must have a solid background in teaching Spanish to young students, particularly beginners and be able to provide a flexible curriculum that’s adaptable to each child's age, interests, and learning pace, encompassing a blend of formal textbook instruction, interactive activities, games, and conversational practice. The position requires a dedicated individual to travel to Del Mar, CA and provide regular, twice-weekly tutoring sessions at our client’s home. If you are interested in this opportunity, please call or send a text message to 858-800-4938.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct Spanish language lessons appropriate for the children's ages and levels of proficiency
  • Develop stimulating lesson plans that promote language skills and cultural appreciation
  • Assess the children’s progress regularly and adapt teaching methods to their learning needs
  • Offer consistent feedback on the children’s development in the language

Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience in teaching Spanish, especially to children
  • Excellent proficiency in Spanish and familiarity with teaching techniques
  • Ability to engage young learners and make language learning enjoyable
  • Must have reliable transportation to reach the family's home
