Job Description
Are you a detail-oriented and passionate immigration paralegal looking to contribute to a dynamic legal team? This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading immigration law firm in Southern California. As an Immigration Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in assisting clients with a variety of immigration matters, from family-based petitions to employment-based visas. You will work closely with experienced attorneys to provide comprehensive legal services and ensure compliance with immigration laws and regulations.
Salary Range: $68,000 - $88,000 / year DOE
Immigration Paralegal Requirements:
- 2-3 years of experience in immigration law, preferably in both family-based and employment-based immigration
- Strong understanding of immigration laws and regulations
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in legal research and writing
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Immigration Paralegal Responsibilities
- Manage a diverse caseload of immigration cases, including family-based and employment-based matters
- Prepare and file immigration petitions, applications, and other legal documents
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies
- Communicate with clients and government agencies to provide updates and address inquiries
- Maintain accurate case files and databases
- Review and analyze immigration laws and regulations to ensure compliance
- Assist with client consultations and meetings
- Prepare and submit immigration forms and supporting documents
- Monitor case processing timelines and deadlines
- Respond to requests for evidence and other government agency inquiries
- Prepare correspondence and other legal documents as needed
