Job Description

One of the largest immigration law firms by volume is seeking a dedicated Immigration Attorney to join its El Paso office. This role offers a unique opportunity to work alongside some of the most highly regarded immigration attorneys in the field. The attorney will manage a high-volume caseload, handle client consultations, appear in federal and immigration court, and develop case strategies. The ideal candidate will have strong client-facing skills, high emotional intelligence, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Immigration Attorney Responsibilities:
- Manage an active caseload of 100+ cases at various stages
- Represent clients in master hearings and federal court hearings
- Conduct new client consultations, assess cases, and set legal strategies
- Clearly communicate legal strategies and case progress to clients
- Delegate document gathering and form preparation to support staff
- Provide written and verbal client communication to guide them through the immigration process
- Collaborate with experienced partners
Immigration Attorney Requirements:
- 1-2+ years of experience practicing immigration law
- Licensed to practice law in any U.S. state
- Strong client management skills with the ability to handle emotional, high-stress cases
- High emotional intelligence able to discern facts and navigate complex client situations
- Ability to work onsite daily with potential for limited hybrid flexibility
- Bilingual in English & Spanish is strongly preferred
- Experience using Clio and Clio Grow legal software is a plus
