Job Description
A global power tool manufacturer in Portland, OR is searching for a skilled IT Manager to join their team! They are looking for someone with at least 3 years of experience in general IT to help maintain their systems with basic troubleshooting and IT support for a variety of software, both old and new. Pay Range: $90,000 - $105,000 DOE
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage overall IT operations, ensuring efficient system functionality and user support
- Coordinate and execute technical onboarding for new employees, including system setups and email configurations
- Deliver exceptional technical support to staff, adapting to varied levels of technical expertise
- Communicate technical concepts in an accessible and user-friendly manner, bridging the gap between IT and non-technical staff
- Assume responsibility for the management and enhancement of the company's core operating system, leveraging external resources for optimal performance
- Regularly assess and update software solutions, prioritizing operational efficiency and user needs
Requirements:
- 3+ years of general IT experience
- Exceptional communication skills, with a focus on clarity and effective interaction with all staff levels
- A supportive approach to IT management, emphasizing user assistance and operational support
- Eagerness to engage with and optimize the company's primary operating system
- Proficiency in essential IT tools and software, including MS Office and time management systems
- A college degree in a relevant field is preferred
