Job Description


A wonderful mission-driven non-profit organization is seeking a Hybrid Talent Acquisition Specialist in Dearborn, MI to help build a pipeline of diverse talent and meet their staffing goals. The ideal candidate will have experience in talent acquisition, a passion for community service, and a strong work ethic. You will work closely with the Director of HR to find the best talent for the organization and manage the internship program.? 
 
Pay Range:$29,000 - $30,000 DOE 
 
Responsibilities: 
  • Build a pipeline of candidates using social media, job boards, and other professional networks
  • Headhunt for the right talent and connect with people at career fairs and recruiting websites
  • Extend offers to candidates, ensuring job descriptions and salaries are in line with the non-profit market
  • Manage the internship program, advertise it to different colleges, answer questions, and sign up interns
  • Navigate communication with different types of candidates
  • Participate in the daily tasks of bringing new talent into the organization 
 
Requirements: 
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Public Administration, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field
  • Minimum of 1 year of talent acquisition experience
  • Experience with an applicant tracking system and recruiting sites or job boards. 
  • Must have worked for a non-profit
  • Must provide a COVID-19 vaccination card or have religious/medical exemption. 
  • Certified Volunteer Administrator preferred
  • 2-3 years of talent acquisition experience is a plus
 
Benefits: 
  • Benefits are applicable once the candidate is converted to permanent
  • Access to medical, dental, and vision insurance for the employee at a cost of $89 per month after 60 days 
  • Eligibility for a 403B retirement plan with a 1% salary match after 1 year, increasing to 2% after 2 years and up to 5% after 5 years 
  • The employer pays for the retirement plan contributions, which do not come out of the employee's paycheck 
  • 18 days of paid time off (PTO) per year
