Job Description
A San Diego-based Non-Profit organization is seeking a dedicated Hybrid Grant Writer II to join their team! Our client is looking for someone with at least 2 years of grant writing experience and a proven track record of securing public funding grants by collaborating with various stakeholders. This role also requires the ability to work with complex grants, manage large amounts of data, and obtain important information.

Pay Range: $65,000 - $73,102 DOE
Responsibilities:
- Investigate data from multiple sources and collaborate with staff across various business areas, including medical centers, employment services, therapeutic child care, and housing
- Conduct direct outreach to obtain information and track down data and individuals
- Develop detailed and complex grant proposals
- Manage large amounts of data and information effectively
- Research and analyze potential funding sources and prepare accurate proposals and reports
- Meet grant requirements and manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Utilize donor management database Razor's Edge and MS Office proficiently
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years in grant writing
- 5+ years of grant writing without a degree
- Nonprofit experience is preferred
- 3 writing samples of grants
- Experience in public grant writing and human services is preferred
- Razor’s Edge is preferred
- Strong attention to detail, excellent organization skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
