Job Description

A distinguished local glass business in Glenwood Springs, CO is searching for a new General Manager to join their team!  The company specializes in high-end custom residential glasswork and they are looking for someone with a passion for quality who values expert craftsmanship to lead projects and operations with their shared vision.  If you have at least 10 years of residential glass experience, a background in construction, a proven track record of effective team management and you’re motivated to be a true business partner, this could be the career move you’ve been waiting for!  To find out more about what this position has to offer you, apply now!

Pay Range: $80,000 - $120,000 DOE


Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate daily operations, ensuring projects are completed to the highest quality standards
  • Function as the lead Project Manager for all assignments, ensuring timely and cost-effective execution
  • Direct and supervise a skilled workforce, including office personnel and installation crews, to foster a collaborative and efficient work environment
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and contractors, managing expectations and communications throughout the project lifecycle
  • Order materials, plan project logistics, and conduct site measurements, contributing to the hands-on aspects of project implementation when necessary
  • Manage contract negotiations, review project specifications, and ensure adherence to defined parameters
  • Maintain a keen eye for detail in every aspect of the operation, from customer service to the finishing touches on installations

Requirements:
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in the residential glass industry with extensive knowledge of glass products and installation techniques
  • A solid background in the construction industry, particularly within the high-end residential sector
  • Valid driver's license and the ability to travel to various job sites as required
  • Proficiency in using project management software and tools; experience with Marc toolbox or related systems is preferred
  • Experience in a managerial role within the glass or construction industry is highly valued
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams, manage projects, and interact with clients and contractors
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with a track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • A hands-on approach to management and a willingness to engage directly with project tasks when needed
