A renowned interior construction company in Acworth, GA that specializes in commercial metal stud framing, pre-fabrication, gypsum wallboard and acoustical ceiling systems is in search of a General Field Superintendent to join their team! The company is seeking a high-level superintendent that has 10+ years of industry experience, including 2-3 years of experience in load bearing, metal foot framing, dry wall and acoustic installation for high rises and other large buildings.

As the General Field Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing individual superintendents and ensuring the quality of work on each job. This is an excellent leadership opportunity with one of the top four construction companies in the Atlanta area, with great growth potential. Pay Range: $100,000 - $150,000 DOE

Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and manage the quality and productivity of up to 12 projects at a time, averaging 8 projects, ensuring work meets high standards and deadlines
  • Collaborate with purchasing and warehouse teams to manage tool inventory and availability
  • Reach out to each individual job sites daily to check for issues and ensure all crews are present and not short-handed
  • Follow up on any daily needs for each job site, including placing material and equipment orders and contacting the office for equipment needs
  • Plan and prioritize workforce, material, and equipment needs for upcoming days and weeks, working with project teams to ensure successful project completion
  • Maintain an organizational daily checklist and collaborate in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Utilize manpower management skills to ensure a strong workforce, including identifying and deploying key staff members, such as layout crews, to new job sites

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in construction management or related field
  • 2-3 years of experience in commercial load and non-load bearing metal stud framing, gypsum wallboard, acoustical ceilings and building insulation
  • Proven track record of managing large construction projects and delivering high-quality results
  • Ability to read blueprints, shop drawings, Procore, Plan Grid and multi-story projects
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Knowledge of construction safety regulations and best practices
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred
