Foreclosure Associate Attorney- Remote in MD
Job Description
A premier law firm in the default law sector is seeking a tech-savvy Foreclosure Associate Attorney to join their Maryland team in a remote/hybrid position. They are looking for attorneys who demonstrate a strong work ethic, attention to detail and have at least 5 years of experience in foreclosure law. Although this role is primarily remote, it requires weekly visits to the firm s office in Leesburg, VA to sign documents and attend court appearances in Maryland a few times per month. Pay Range: $145,000 - $150,000 DOE
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the activities of two Maryland foreclosure attorneys, ensuring cohesive team operations
- Review foreclosure documents prepared by assistants
- Handle a mix of remote and occasional in-person court appearances across Maryland
- Conduct weekly visits to the Leesburg, VA office for document signing
- Provide ongoing legal advice and direction to clients, legal processors, and foreclosure attorneys
Requirements:
- Current admission to the Maryland bar
- Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited university
- 5+ years of experience in foreclosure law
- Must live in Maryland for weekly office visits and court appearances
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Excel, and Word
- Supervisory experience is preferred
- Admission to DC and Virginia bars is a plus
- Strong work ethic with a commitment to excellence
- Exceptional attention to detail ensuring accuracy and efficiency
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Tech-savvy with the ability to navigate digital court appearances with professionalism and ease
