A leading independent advisory firm is seeking a Financial Advisor in Waltham, Massachusetts to deliver comprehensive financial planning and investment guidance, helping clients achieve their long-term financial goals. This role involves engaging directly with clients, conducting in-depth financial analysis, and developing personalized strategies that align with each client s unique objectives. The Financial Advisor will manage and optimize portfolios, assist in identifying growth opportunities, and collaborate on team projects aimed at refining firm procedures. This candidate will uphold strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a genuine commitment to providing high-quality, client-focused service.
Salary Range: $130,000 - $135,000 / year DOE
Financial Advisor Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth financial planning to assist clients in defining, prioritizing, and achieving financial goals
- Manage day-to-day tasks, including meeting notes, portfolio preparation, and client presentation support
- Work alongside Senior Advisors to deliver tailored strategies for high-net-worth clients
- Analyze financial data to identify opportunities for optimized client outcomes and long-term success
- Collaborate with the team to identify and pursue new business opportunities, assisting in closing and onboarding processes
- Assist with initiatives to streamline firm procedures and improve internal processes
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records using Salesforce and other firm software
Financial Advisor Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in financial planning, with an emphasis on estate and tax planning
- Bachelor s degree in finance, business, or a related field
- Certified Financial Planner (CFP ) designation with at least two years of experience as a CFP
- Proven experience serving high-net-worth clients, preferably managing portfolios ranging from $1-10M
- Proficiency in financial planning systems, including Salesforce, Orion, eMoney, and MS Suite
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to convey complex financial concepts clearly
- Service-oriented and team-focused mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
