Financial Advisor
Job Description
Our client is a robust financial services firm committed to helping clients achieve financial security and plan for their future. Located in the heart of Downtown San Diego, the team is looking to add a Financial Advisor to build and manage a client base from warm leads and handle the day-to-day management of existing clients. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated individual who thrives in a results-oriented, fast-paced environment!
Salary Range: $75,000-$120,000 / year DOE
Financial Advisor Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in Finance or a related field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Experience with financial software (e.g., Morningstar, Charles Schwab)
- Experience tracking and projecting the performance of stocks, bonds, and funds.
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Experience managing a book of business is essential
- CFP certification and/or insurance license preferred
- Familiarity with CRM software and financial technologies
- Must reside in the San Diego area and willing to go in office
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with prospective and existing clients through outreach and lead generation
- Conduct meetings to assess client needs, recommend investment strategies, and provide ongoing financial guidance
- Execute risk assessments, asset allocations, and investment strategies
- Stay informed on economic and market trends, and identify new business opportunities
- Perform market research and analyze customer needs
