Job Description
A reputable financial services firm in Ormond Beach, FL is seeking a Financial Advisor to join their team! This is a great opportunity where there is no cold-calling or business development involved. All leads are brought to you through the firm's marketing efforts making this an ideal position for those who excel in financial planning and client service without the pressure of sales targets. They are looking for candidates with a current FL life, health, and annuity license (2-15) and a Series 65 license or equivalent. Pay Range: $70, 000 - $90, 000 DOE
Responsibilities:
- Deliver expert financial advice to new and existing clients leveraging the firm's marketing efforts, focusing on financial planning, retirement planning, and wealth management without the need for self-marketing or business development
- Conduct comprehensive reviews and meetings with clients, including annual reviews and periodic check-ins, to assess and adjust their financial plans in alignment with their goals
- Specialize in 401k advisement for a key client, with an aim to grow this segment by providing strategic retirement planning services
- Collaborate with the compliance department and in-house investment team for alignment on client strategies, benefiting from a support team handling administrative tasks
- Engage in continuous learning and application of financial planning standards and investment strategies to ensure the highest level of client service and advisory proficiency
Requirements:
- Current FL life, health, and annuity license (2-15) and Series 65 or equivalent securities licensing are mandatory
- Must possess at least one of the following: Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), or Personal Financial Specialist (PFS)
- A minimum of 3 years in a client-facing financial advisor role, with a proven track record of effective financial planning and advisory services
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships without the necessity for personal business development efforts
- Ability to work seamlessly within a team, contributing to a supportive and effective client service environment
- Understanding of and adherence to all regulatory compliance requirements related to financial advising
