Field Industrial Maintenance Mechanic
Job Description
A packaging company is seeking a Field Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to join their team in an onsite travel position based out of the Northwest where you will be working both in the field and at the company’s headquarters in Auburn, WA. They are looking for candidates with at least 5 years of experience with mechanical and electrical troubleshooting on industrial equipment. You’ll be primarily responsible for installing, troubleshooting and maintaining industrial automation and packaging equipment. The position comes with a generous compensation package that includes competitive pay plus profit sharing bonus, excellent health benefits, 401K with strong match, gas/mileage reimbursement, lots of time off and other great perks!
Pay Range: $65,000 - $85,000 DOE
Responsibilities:
- Install and integrate industrial automation equipment
- Assemble and build electromechanical systems/machines
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues on industrial equipment
- Conduct equipment testing and preventative maintenance
- Collaborate with the team to schedule service calls
- Ensure customer satisfaction and communicate effectively with clients
- Perform installations, ranging from 4-6 hours to 1.5 weeks
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- 5+ years of mechanical and electrical troubleshooting or proficiency on industrial equipment
- Willingness to travel to customer service sites regularly
- Standard tools, electrical multimeter, ability to supply basic tools (specialized tools provided)
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- Associates Degree/Trade school in technical fields (electrical, mechanical, engineering technology) is preferred
- Technical certifications (Electrical, robotics, specific machine maintenance) is preferred
- Must live near Auburn, WA or Portland, OR
