Field Assessor
Job Description
A property management company in Atlanta, GA is searching for an experienced Field Assessor to join their team! This is a great opportunity to work in a flexible role where you will help manage the company’s maintenance division by traveling to their properties and providing maintenance assessments. The ideal candidate is someone with a full range of handyman skills, who is also well-versed in vendor and client relations. The position is 100% remote with 80% of the work being driving to properties to perform assessments.
Pay Range: $45,000 - $50,000 DOE
Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing the maintenance division of the business
- Perform comprehensive property inspections, including taking pictures and creating detailed reports
- Utilize a checklist to accurately assess elements
- Utilize company-provided tools for documentation and reporting
- Manage around 800 single tenant units within the territory
- Spend a majority of the day on the road for property assessments
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in maintenance management
- 2+ years of administrative experience with proficiency in technology
- Strong knowledge in general handyman skills, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, dry walling, landscaping, and HVAC
- Familiarity with property management software (e.g., Yardi, Appfolio)
- Real Estate License and BA Degree is preferred
- Ability to adhere to strict time schedules and maintain high standards of work
- Good computer skills for technology use including Excel
- Must live in the Atlanta, GA area
