A general contractor in Capitol Heights, MD, is searching for a Federal Project Manager to oversee classified projects at the Pentagon! This is an important role to ensure the successful execution of multimillion-dollar design-build projects, focusing on client relations, project management, and team leadership. You will be working out of the Pentagon, leading high-stakes projects critical to national security. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include coordinating with top-level federal clients, managing project timelines, and ensuring all project aspects comply with stringent security protocols. Federal Project Manager Requirements:
- Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture
- 10 years of design-build experience as an Engineer, Project Manager, or Construction Manager

- Ability to pass a security clearance
- Familiarity with Acumatica or similar project management software preferred
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to work under pressure
- Self-motivated and driven to achieve project success
Federal Project Manager Responsibilities:
- Lead client relations, estimating, and project management for Pentagon projects
- Scope projects and manage the allocation of necessary staff as projects develop
- Ensure compliance with security clearance requirements for classified projects
- Oversee direct reports and provide necessary support as project demands increase
- Travel to job sites as needed and maintain an office presence at the Pentagon
- Adapt to varying levels of project activity, from hands-on estimating to project oversight
