A reputable Southern California law firm specializing in family law is seeking a dedicated Associate Attorney to join its Corona office. This position is ideal for a driven legal professional eager to handle diverse family law matters, including consultations, drafting, and litigation, while receiving support and resources for professional growth. Salary Range: $160,000 - $200,000 / year DOE
Family Law Attorney Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of family law cases, including divorce, domestic violence, and custody matters
- Represent clients in court regularly, handling trials, motions, hearings, and in-court mediation sessions
- Conduct consultations to advise clients, prepare case strategies, and sign new clients for representation
- Draft, review, and file RFOs, declarations, and other key legal documents in collaboration with paralegals
- Collaborate with paralegals and attorneys to meet case goals, ensuring effective communication and results
- Participate in firmwide training, professional development, and team meetings to address legal challenges
Family Law Attorney Requirements:
- 4+ years of family law experience, with trial experience preferred
- California Bar license in good standing
- Strong communication skills for client consultations and court appearances
- Ability to manage multiple cases, with keen attention to deadlines
- Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively with a legal team
