Single Day Event Gig in Santa Ana, CA on June 7, 2024!
Boutique Recruiting has partnered with a top events company to hire Event Staff for a single day event gig on Jun 7, 2024 in Santa Ana, CA. You will be a key player in creating a seamless guest experience at John Wayne Airport greeting attendees for an all-expense-paid trip awarded to the company's top performers. Your tasks will include welcoming guests with signs, confirming their names, and using an app to check them in while coordinating with drivers to pick them up from each terminal. This is a fantastic chance to earn some extra money while contributing to a fun and rewarding award event. There are four shifts to be covered:
- Staff 1 (Terminal C): Start at 8:30 AM, then assist Terminal B until 1:30 PM.
- Staff 2 (Terminal B): Start at 8:30 AM, leave at 2:30 PM after final arrivals.
- Staff 3 (Terminal A to C): Start at 10:00 AM, stay at Terminal C until 5:00 PM.
- Staff 4 (Lead/Assist): Start at 10:00 AM, assist as needed, stay until 5:00 PM.
Salary Range: $20 - $21 / hour DOE
Event Staff Requirements:
- Professional attire: Black slacks, black blazer, comfortable shoes
- Combed hair and a bubbly personality
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with guests and drivers
- Previous hospitality or customer service experience is a plus
Event Staff Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly and confirm their names before directing them to their transportation
- Use the designated app to check guests in and notify drivers for pickup
- Coordinate with the off-site Event Manager, to handle any issues
- Ensure all terminals are staffed efficiently, especially during high-traffic flight arrivals
- Submit parking receipts for reimbursement
